The parent company of the ALROSA Group has published reports under the Russian Accounting Standards (RAS) for 2018.
The revenue of ALROSA under RAS for the reporting period amounted to 219.8 billion rubles, which is more than 19 billion rubles, or 10% more than in the previous year. The revenue growth is mainly attributed to the increase in the average selling price for gem-quality diamonds.
The net profit of PJSC ALROSA for the 12 months amounted to 29.3 billion rubles - by 12.1 billion rubles, or almost 71% more than a year earlier. The financial results for RAS differ significantly from those for international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and are not comparable with them. The source of information on the financial status and performance of ALROSA on a consolidated basis, as well as the basis for calculating dividend payments to shareholders, is only IFRS statements. IFRS Report for 2018 is scheduled to be published in mid-March this year.
