Yakutia’s Cultivated Area Is about to Be Expanded up to 59 560 Hectares

   In 2018 the cultivated area in Yakutia is planned to be expanded up to 59 560 hectares, including grain crops – increasing up to 11 505 hectares, potatoes – 8 332 hectares, vegetables of the open ground – 2214 hectares, forage crops, steam processings – 10500 hectares.

    The expected gross grain harvest is estimated to be at 13319 tons, potatoes – 79000 tons, vegetables of the open ground – 38700 tons, hay preparation - 477 421 tons, silo – 19500 tons, silage – 10837 tons.
    According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Policy of the Sakha Republic, the state support of crop production is previously approved at the level of 2017 and will make 296 708,2 thousand rubles.
