'Hamlet' from Yakutia nominated for Golden Mask Award

My Friend Hamlet
, staged by the flamboyant director Sergey Potapov, is nominated for the Golden Mask National Theater Award, the Yakutia 24 TV channel reports.

Oiunsky Sakha Theater's performance claims to be awarded in the nomination Drama / Performance of Big Form, noted on the website of the award. My Friend Hamlet is directed by Sergey Potapov in the Yakut language.

The performances in the Bashkir and Tatar languages are also presented in this nomination.

The Golden Mask Russian National Theater Award was established in 1993 by the Union of Theater Workers of the Russian Federation and is awarded to performances of all genres of theatrical art: drama, opera, ballet, modern dance, operetta and musical, puppet theater.

In 2019 this is the 25th Golden Mask to be held in Moscow.
