As a result of the implementation of the budget of Yakutia for the first quarter of this year, the republic has received less than 8 billion rubles of profit tax. In this regard, in May the government of the region will introduce another correction to the parliament.

"As a result of the first quarter, I can already conclude that the budget will be very difficult. Why? We maintain growth trends in terms of economic parameters. Our main indicators have good dynamics, even better than last year. As a result of income from taxes - personal income tax, property tax, in other areas – they increase. As a result of income from taxes - personal income tax, property tax, in other areas – they increase. But, unfortunately, for three months we have received less than 8 billion rubles of profit tax, which was billed in recent years, taking into account our large enterprises operating in the world market. These funds were laid in the revenues of the republic's budget," - Head of Yakutia Egor Borisov reported on April 25 in the State Assembly (Il Tumen).

According to him, today these large companies are experiencing great difficulties associated with fluctuations in the exchange rate and oil prices. Il Darkhan believes that, according to forecasts, this trend will continue.

"In this case we will have big problems with budget execution. I also talked about this at previous sessions. The situation is negative for the republic. Therefore, the government of the region was instructed to ask the parliament to hold a plenary meeting in May and make the first adjustment in terms of reducing revenues and, accordingly, expenditure cut in the budget for 2017. We will not dramatize the situation, we continue to work. Social expenses will be saved. As for this issue, there is no doubt," - Borisov said.
