More than 50 Yakutia businessmen took part in a seminar on participation in the purchase of ALROSA.
Vice President of the Company Vladimir Kozlov told how to become a supplier of goods and services for the largest enterprise at a meeting with representatives of small business.
The agreement to hold such a seminar was reached as a result of a private conversation between Anton Safronov, Minister of Investment Development and Entrepreneurship of RS (Yakutia), and Sergei Ivanov, ALROSA President, as part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2017). Then the parties agreed that there was a need to clarify the company's purchasing policy.
Already today, with this mission, ALROSA Vice-President for Purchasing Activities Vladimir Kozlov arrived in the capital of the republic.
He said that the Company's policy towards Yakutia was and remains socially oriented. With regard to work with small and medium-sized businesses, in 2016, JSC ALROSA produced 4359 purchases in the amount of 1.47 billion rubles. As Vladimir Kozlov explained, over the past three years 11,000 suppliers of goods and services were registered on the corporate electronic trading platform. "At the moment, in our purchasing nomenclature, there are 157 types of goods and services, which we put up for auction. They include the supply of food, spare parts, supplies, laundry services and much more," he said. In addition, the Company has a special Partnership Program, in which entrepreneurs receive information and organizational support. Moreover, in some cases, small business entities are advanced from 30% of the contract amount for the performance of obligations.
During the seminar, representatives of the diamond company gave explanations on the application of FZ-223 "On Procurement of Goods, Works, Services by Individual Types of Legal Entities," answered questions from Yakut entrepreneurs.
The representative of the Yakut agrocomplex asked to expand the list of types of purchases, taking into account Yakutia products that are not included in the general list of nomenclature.
In continuation of the theme and development of the ‘Made in Yakutia’ brand, the head of the regional branch of the ‘Delovaya Rossiya (Business Russia)’ public organization, Flida Gabbasova, expressed the wish to form lots for specific types of products. She said that the Yakut producers are willing to join together to participate in bulk support.
At the end of the meeting, the representative of "Diamonds of Anabar" said that they are ready to organize a special advisory center on its base, where specialists of the subsidiary will assist in the preparation of documents.
