ALROSA - Chief Partner of ‘Technostart 2018’ Innovation Contest

ALROSA will act as the chief strategic partner of the contest of innovative projects Technostart-2018 – the largest contest in Russia for innovative projects in the field of machine-building industry.

Geography of the contest covers 79 cities. Since the first contest the number of participants has increased by 4-fold and the number of mentors – by 3 times.

Applications for the contest from the participants will be accepted until March 9, 2018. The final will be held on April 19, 2018 in the territory of Skolkovo Innovation Center. Aspirants to win will appear before representatives of the largest industrial companies and venture capital funds. Winners will receive prizes from the organizer - OMZ Group and other partners of the contest. They will also be able to access the support tools provided by the Skolkovo Foundation, including grant funding for research and development, mentoring, assistance in protecting intellectual property, attracting investments and commercializing the results of research and development.

As reported in the Company, in the contest in the section of AK ALROSA can participate innovative projects for geological exploration and methods of prospecting for diamond deposits, technological processes of extraction and enrichment, purification of highly mineralized circulating waters, production of motor fuel from natural gas and transition of transport to this type of fuel, construction in conditions of cryolithozone, energy saving and energy efficiency.
