Domestic businessmen note the completion of the recession of the Russian economy and give an optimistic estimation of its development. This is stated in the research of the Higher School of Economics, which was placed at the disposal of Izvestia.
So, in 2017, 66% of the leaders of Russian industrial enterprises assessed the state of the investment climate as satisfactory, while in 2016 this indicator was 58%, and in 2015 - 54%.
At the same time, the share of unsatisfactory estimates fell to 29% (in 2016 and 2015 it was 38% and 42%, respectively), 5% of respondents (previously 4%) rated the Russian business climate as good.
Almost 40% of the respondents intend to increase investments in their production, mainly modernize the equipment.
However, the author of the report of the Higher School of Economics says that serious economic reforms are needed to improve the Russian investment climate, in particular, reducing the tax burden on business.
