On Thursday, May 24, 22nd St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2018) will open in St. Petersburg

Members of the delegation of Yakutia, headed by Egor Borisov, will take part in the sessions of the forum. It is also planned to hold a number of business meetings on the margins of the SPIEF and sign cooperation agreements.

"It is planned that within two days Egor Afanasievich will participate in several sessions on investment in the Far East, the development of digital economy, the presentation of the results of the National rating of the investment climate in the regions of Russia. There will be business meetings with the heads of state companies and agreements on cooperation will be signed. In addition, the head of Yakutia will communicate with journalists. It is important to note that within the forum there will be a meeting of the Advisory Commission of the State Council of the Russian Federation on the implementation of the May Decrees of the Russian President, where Egor Borisov will also take part, as well as in the plenary session chaired by the head of state Vladimir Putin,” said the head of the Information Policy Department Stanislav Platonov.

Traditionally, heads of states and leaders of Russian regions, prominent public and political figures, heads of major companies, representatives of business circles and experts from Russia and foreign countries will gather at the SPIEF discussion platform.

Note that the Forum’s slogan is Building a Trust Economy. The topic was chosen not accidentally: the organizers of a large-scale event are sure that only trust will overcome artificially built restrictions in the world economy and politics.
