“The points of economic growth in Yakutia will developed through the allocation of federal funds,” stated acting Minister of Economy of the Republic, Maya Danilova.
Yesterday during a meeting with the Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation Anton Siluanov, the head of Yakutia, Aisen Nikolayev, noted that the republic had already received the first tranche of the federal aid in the amount of 1.7 billion rubles. The funds are provided to create a social infrastructure for points of economic growth in Yakutia.
According to Maya Danilova, the money will be spent on construction of a school №35 in Yakutsk, new buildings of a multidisciplinary gymnasium in Khandyga, a gym in Srednekolymsk, a master overhaul of a child health centre and reconstruction of utilities in Neryungri.
"After reconstruction, the deterioration of utilities in Neryungri will decrease from 90% to 20%. The gym in Srednekolymsk will increase the number of people engaged in physical culture and sports in the region. According to this indicator, the district lags behind others. The implementation of all these activities will obviously contribute to the implementation of the "May" decree of Vladimir Putin and will give impetus to the development of points of economic growth," said the Minister of Economy of Yakutia.
Danilova underlined that that there were 2 other objects to include into the approved plan the government of the republic and federal agencies are working on. They are oncologic and cardiologic dispensaries. The financing is provided within the state program of social and economic development of the Far East and the Baikal region.
All regions of the Far East face a common task - to carry out the "May" decree with indicators above the national average.
