A package of proposals for the implementation of the May decree of Vladimir Putin in Yakutia was prepared by the government of the republic. The preliminary financial need for their implementation is estimated at 598 billion rubles.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree setting the national development targets up to 2024. The government has only to form the ways: by October 1, 2018, the main directions of the Cabinet's activities and the forecast of the social and economic development of Russia until 2024 should be developed. Russian regions proposals for inclusion them in the general federal plan were supposed to be sent before June 16. Yakutia has formed a package of proposals, consisting of 12 programs.
According the acting Minister of Economy of Yakutia, Maya Danilova, the list included key issues for the region: healthcare, education, housing construction, ecology, science, the digital economy, small and medium business, development of the long-haul infrastructure, etc. According to the preliminary assessment of the Ministry of Economy of Yakutia to implement “May decree” in Yakutia 598 billion rubles will be needed. In addition, 700 billion rubles are necessary to develop the main infrastructure, including construction of highways, railways, development of air traffic, construction of new power lines.
"For a week and a half we will be working with federal authorities to ensure that our projects are included in the final document. Based on the results of this work, we will update our strategy understanding how much money we will receive from the federal budget and how much we can offer ourselves as co-financing," says Danilova.
