The Ministry for Economic Development of Russian Far East will make every effort to ensure that the preferences existing for the Far Eastern Federal District are in effect in two new regions, said the minister, Aleksandr Kozlov, commenting on the accession of Buryatia and Transbaikalia to the Far Eastern Federal District.

“The Far Eastern region and Transbaikalia have always been associated with each other. Many have friends, close people, relatives living there. Borders are conditional. In the context of the ministry, of course, there is a lot of work to do We will do everything so that the preferences for the development of the Far East, which are now gaining momentum in 9 regions, can develop to the maximum in 2 more new regions. New for the Far East in the context of the territories, but such close in terms of the relationship of people!" quotes the press service of the Ministry.

Recall, the decree on the inclusion of two new regions, Buryatia and the Trans-Baikal Territory in the Far Eastern Federal District, Vladimir Putin signed on November 3. The Government of Russia has been instructed to bring its acts into conformity with the decree within three months.
