ALROSA welcomes to join Tekhnostart Innovative Projects competition

As part of this year’s competition, applications will be collected until March 22 in two main areas: optimization of production processes and improvement of the product line. Thanks to ALROSA, this year’s competition agenda also includes a special section that includes 7 areas at once: geological exploration, diamond mining and enrichment technologies, purification of highly mineralized circulating water, production of motor fuel from natural gas and the transition of transport to gas, construction in cryolithozone conditions, energy saving and digitalization of production processes.

In May 2019, the jury will decide on 4 finalists for the ALROSA section. The final of the competition will be held at the Skolkovo Technopark. In addition to the OMZ and ALROSA experts, the jury of the competition also includes representatives of leading Russian companies and venture funds: PАО Gazprom Neft, State Atomic Energy Corporation 'Rosatom', the Skolkovo Foundation, State Corporation ‘Rostec’, and many others.

Projects are accepted for the competition within the special section of ALROSA, as well as in the following areas: optimization of production processes, including digital and additive technologies, industrial robotics, energy saving and energy efficiency, as well as projects aimed at improving the product line in the field of engineering equipment for the petrochemical, metallurgical and nuclear industries.

The final competition will take place on May 21, 2019 in Moscow. Applicants for the victory will speak to representatives of the largest industrial companies and funds, present their projects and answer expert questions. Winners will receive prizes from OMZ Group and other competition partners. In addition, best projects will be able to access the support tools of the Skolkovo Foundation, including mentoring support, support in attracting funds, commercialization of research and development results, protection of intellectual property.
