“Yakutsk turned into a city of intelligence,” said Lilia Gumerova

The first deputy chairman of the Committee for Science, Education and Culture, a representative of the executive body of state authority of the Republic of Bashkortostan Lilia Gumerova took part in the opening of the International Intellectual Games 2018 that are being held in Yakutsk from July 8 to July 15.

Lilia Gumerova states that International intellectual games give Russian children not just an opportunity to unleash their intellectual potential and present their ideas and projects, but also come a communication and educational platform that reinforces the creation of a community of gifted youth working for the benefit of technological progress.

"For these days Yakutsk has turned into a city of intelligence. Today the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) is one of the Federal subjects, where it is possible to achieve significant success supporting science and education. Here the special focus is on the search and development of the creative abilities of talented children and young people, to stimulate their interest in science and innovations," commented the parliamentarian.

Lilia Gumerova underlined that the program of the International Science Games 2018 was busy and interesting. She said it would help to identify talented young people from different regions of our country and the whole world.

"Holding such forums helps to get gifted young people into scientific and research activity and provides stimulation for further effective work," said the parliamentarian.
