Business sessions, a demonstration of the economic, investment, scientific potential of the republic, the culture and traditions of Yakutia are all provided for by the program of participation in the Days of the Far East, which will be held in Moscow in December. Organizational issues were discussed at a meeting chaired by Prime Minister of Yakutia Vladimir Solodov on November 21.
The Minister for External Relations of the RS (Y) Gavril Kirillin and the First Deputy Minister of Entrepreneurship, Trade and Tourism of the RS (Y) Irina Gargach spoke at the meeting with information about the participation of the republic in the events of the Days of the Far East in Moscow 2018.
As part of the Days of the Far East in Moscow, the republic will take part in the Far Eastern Fair, which will be held on December 3-9 on Tverskaya Square, where four separate zones will be set up in areas. Here it is planned to present the cultural program of the republic, show products of Yakutia, national dishes, conduct master classes in traditional crafts, etc.
On December 13-15 EXPOCENTRE Central Exhibition Complex will host the Festival of the Far East. The exhibition part will be held in three demo zones: Work and Business, Education and Science, Tourism and Leisure, and sectors Gastronomic Festival, Panorama of Capitals, Souvenir Shop, Far Eastern Rock and Roll.
As part of the business program, on December 12, a business session entitled Invest in Yakutia! is planned to be held at the Permanent Mission of the RS (Y) under the President of the Russian Federation, December 14 the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation will host a panel discussion "Export Potential of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)", December 13, the EXPOCENTRE will host a presentation of tourism products of the RS (Y) and the presentation of the first in the Far East of Russia “accelerator” of innovative projects - Innovation Development Fund of the RS (Y).
Besides, cooperation agreements will be signed between the republic and large enterprises, leading educational institutions of the country.
During the discussion of the republic’s participation program at the Days of the Far East in Moscow 2018, Vladimir Solodov also commissioned a session with MSU startupers where Yakut scientists could be joined scientific research relevant to the development of the republic. The list of topics for this will be determined in advance.
The head of the Cabinet indicated to pay great attention to the substantial content of the presentations and information provided in the demo zones. Vladimir Solodov instructed to prepare the negotiating premises and carefully elaborate agreements that the republic will conclude. In addition, the Prime Minister separately discussed the invitation of entrepreneurs and investors to business sessions, the press service of the head and government of the RS (Y) reported.
