Government of Yakutia will be headed by Vladimir Solodov


Evgeny Chekin will be dismissed from the post of chairman of the government. Vladimir Solodov will act as head of the region's Cabinet of Ministers. This was announced by the interim head of Yakutia Aisen Nikolaev.

Head of Yakutia announced the appointment of a new prime minister at a meeting of the Council for Local Self-Government under the head of the RS (Y).

"Vladimir Viktorovich Solodov, who is currently serving as Deputy Plenipotentiary Envoy of the RF President in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev, will be appointed Acting Prime Minister. Since 2015, he has been successfully overseeing issues of economic and investment development of the Far East. I personally know Vladimir Viktorovich for many years, as a person with a brilliant education. We graduated from the same university - Moscow State University. In the next few days, Vladimir Viktorovich will start to work," he said.

Also Aisen Nikolaev expressed gratitude for the work of the former Prime Minister of Yakutia Evgeny Chekin.

"Today I had a talk with the chairman of the government of the republic Evgeny Alekseevich Chekin. He expressed a desire to work with us in the republic, but in another position. On behalf of all, I would like to thank him for the work done and express confidence that he and his talents will continue to work for the benefit of Yakutia," he said.

Vladimir Viktorovich Solodov was born on July 26, 1982 in Moscow.

In 2004 he graduated from the Faculty of Public Administration of Lomonosov Moscow State University. In 2002 he studied at the Institute of Political Science in Paris (France). From 2004 to 2007 he studied at the graduate school of Lomonosov Moscow State University. Has a scientific degree of candidate of political science.

Since 2005, he was engaged in teaching and research activities at the Faculty of Public Administration of Moscow State University, headed the Center for New Technologies of Public Administration, participated in the development and launch of a number of training programs for civil servants, including the Program for the preparation of basic and advanced levels of the federal reserve of management personnel, where more than 300 civil servants received training. Author of more than 30 articles on public administration.

Since 2013, he headed the department of projects and practices in the Young Professionals direction of the autonomous non-profit organization Agency for Strategic Initiatives for Promotion of New Projects. He was responsible for the organization of selection and support of projects in the field of professional development, under his leadership more than 45 projects have been implemented. He took an active part in the launch of the Global Education program, as well as a number of foresight sessions.

In April 2015, he was appointed Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District. Supervises issues of social and economic policy, is an investment commissioner in the Far Eastern Federal District.

Vladimir Solodov is familiar with Yakutia: at the end of 2017, at the all-Russian event, he noted the high level of the Yakut students' construction teams, attended the 'Children of Asia' International Sports Games and participated in the Ysyakh of Tuymaada in 2016.
