Dagestan, Yakutia and Kamchatka will receive the most subsidies in 2019, which follows from the draft federal budget for the next year.
Dagestan will receive 66.3 billion rubles, Yakutia - 46.9 billion, and Kamchatka Krai - 37.4 billion. The TOP 5 also includes Chechnya and the Altai Territory with subsidies of 30.4 and 28.6 billion rubles, respectively.
Earlier, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said that the total amount of subsidies and grants to the regions in 2019 will amount to 1.5 trillion rubles.
“This creates conditions for the sustainable development of the regions, but based, of course, on their own sources of development,” the premier said at a meeting with members of the government the day before.
