Today, October 22, the head of Yakutia, Aisen Nikolaev, held the first expanded meeting with the new composition of the regional government, approved by the State Assembly (Il Tumen) of the republic.
In the course of the extended planning meeting, the head of Yakutia outlined the main activities of the regional government for the current period, which should be under special control of relevant ministries and departments. Among the priorities are the safe heating season, the preparation of winter roads for opening and provision of air transportation, as well as work with the draft budget for 2019 and the completion of the program for resettlement from emergency housing.
Aisen Nikolaev has particularly focused on the formation of a plan of measures for the implementation of 12 national projects within the framework of the 204th Presidential Decree issued in May. The members of the regional government were also tasked to get involved in the work of the Ministry for Development of Russian Far East on the preparation of proposals for the development of the National Program for the Development of the Far East for the period up to 2025.
In this regard, ministries and departments should work in close cooperation with the Permanent Mission of Yakutia in Moscow. “The Permanent Mission, being a part of the government, is aimed primarily at ensuring effective interaction of the republic with the federal authorities,” said Aisen Nikolaev.
During the extended meeting of the newly appointed members of the government of the RS (Y), the head of Yakutia presented them badges of distinctions, as well as a code of ethics and official conduct.
