Yakutia's government signed an agreement on cooperation with Russian Foreign Ministry Diplomatic Academy

The Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation" signed a cooperation agreement, reports the Ministry for External Relations and Affairs of the Peoples of the RS (Y).

The agreement was signed by Chairman of the Government of Yakutia, Vladimir Solodov, and Rector of the Diplomatic Academy, Evgeny Bazhanov.

This agreement provides for cooperation in the development of joint programs and activities aimed at the professional orientation of schoolchildren and students in international relations and diplomacy. This applies to joint projects in support of cultural traditions, the preservation of historical heritage and the development of civil-patriotic education of the younger generation.

In particular, the parties agreed to promote the activities of the young diplomats clubs of Yakutia, including the participation of representatives of the Academy in thematic events of the clubs of the international programs Children - Ambassadors of Peace! Among other issues, cooperation will continue through the ‘Future Diplomat’ Republican Student Contest, which annually gives students the opportunity to win in the Diplomatic Academy under the undergraduate program.
