The head of Yakutia, Aisen Nikolaev, discussed issues of cooperation with Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, the press service of the head and government of the republic reports.
The parties discussed cooperation in the field of human capital development. Aisen Nikolaev noted that the issues of improving the quality of life of the republic and the development of human capital are still key on the agenda of not only Yakutia, but also of all the Far Eastern regions. The head of the republic is confident that any decisions should be made in the name and for the people. “It is necessary to create conditions for life. Any Yakutia citizen should live no worse than in the central part of the country,” said Nikolaev.
To achieve this goal, it is necessary to build an effective management team. Currently, the republic is experiencing the need to introduce modern personnel technologies and is interested in cooperating with the Moscow government to transfer the successful experience of a comprehensive personnel policy. Therefore, the parties considered the possibility of concluding an agreement providing for the exchange of experience and practices between the personnel services of the governments of the two regions, as well as between the Moscow City University of Management of the Government of Moscow and the Higher School of Innovation Management under the head of Yakutia.
The leaders of the two subjects considered the measures necessary to improve the quality of life of people, in particular, the introduction of new competences and advanced Moscow experience in Yakutia in the field of urban planning policy, improvement of urban spaces. Aisen Nikolaev focused on the possibility of organizing internships for Yakutia specialists at relevant enterprises in the city of Moscow.
Separately, the development of tourism in the northern republic was considered, in particular, projects that are already known outside the country. This is a national holiday of summer greeting Ysyakh, as well as the ‘Winter Starts In Yakutia’ Festival, initiated by Aisen Nikolaev, which today is in the TOP 5 best winter event projects in the country. The head of Yakutia reported that the number of participants in the event tours in the republic is increasing annually, and suggested considering the possibility of expanding the interaction of the regions in this direction.
Also during the bilateral meeting, Aisen Nikolaev and Sergei Sobyanin discussed the implementation of a number of federal laws.
