Rosneft to allocate 45.7 million for Small Academy of Sciences of Yakutia

Oil Company Rosneft PJSC will allocate RUR 45.7 mln for the development of design estimates for the construction of the educational and laboratory building of the Small Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) in the village of Chapaevo, Khangalassky District.

The agreement on financing the social sphere of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) was signed September 7 by the head of the republic Egor Borisov and Executive Director, Chairman of the Board of Oil Company Rosneft PJSC Igor Sechin.

The construction of a new educational building designed for 150 people with a boarding school for 100 beds will be held as part of the implementation of the Decree of the head of the republic "On a complex of measures to identify and support gifted children in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)." Senior pupils having achievements in physics and mathematics, natural science, information technology and engineering and technical profiles, are trained on the basis of the scientific and educational center in the Khangalassky district.

"It is gratifying that Rosneft immediately begins its work in the territory of our republic with the support of such major social projects. It is doubly significant that we are talking about the events timed to the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Yakut ASSR," said Egor Borisov.
