Viktor Rassadin has won the cup of ALROSA

Viktor Rassadin, the leading freestyle wrestler of Yakutia, as a member of Russian national team has won the prestigious Cup of the European nations – the Cup of ALROSA. The event took place in Moscow from 11 to 12 November.

The international tournament was held according to the “Wall to wall” rules. Other participants included national teams from Moldova, Georgia and Azerbaijan. The three-time winner of Korkinskiy tournament and the world champion among students, Viktor Rassadin spent two fights in the weight category up to 65 kg. His fellow teammate in the same weight category and the winner of the European championship Murad Nukkhadiev from Krasnoyarsk performed at one fight.

The representative of yakut school of wrestling claimed a clean victory over the European tournament medalist Edemi Bolkvadze from Georgia with the score of 10:0. For a second fight Rassadin was replaced by Murad Nukkhadiev, who also came out victorious.

The head coach of Russian national team Dzhambolat Tedeyev entrusted the yakut athlete to wrestle at the final fight against the representatives of Azerbaijanian team. And Viktor did not disappoint - he won against the world champion among military sportspeople Agaguseyn Mustafayev with the score of 7:2.

The Russian national team won all match fights against their opponents, and Viktor Rassadin along with his team became the winner of the Cup of ALROSA.
