South Korean Asiana Airlines plans to start flights from Seoul to Yakutsk. This was stated by the press service of the Permanent Representative Office of Yakutia in the Far Eastern Federal District.
August 28 in Khabarovsk, the general director of the airport of Yakutsk Nikolai Mestnikov met with the head of the Asiana Airlines representative Cheng Un Hak.
"At the meeting, the sides discussed cooperation in the field of passenger transportation. The advent of a new international player to the market will allow both to meet the domestic demand for regular communication and to strengthen the tourist potential of Yakutia. Cheng Un Hak expressed interest in cooperation and assured of personal support to the management of the airline in Seoul," says the statement of the Permanent Representative Office of Yakutia.
