20 leading operators of the republic’s tourism industry took part in the Sakha Travel 2018 Exhibition within the framework of the ‘Winter Starts In Yakutia’ All-Russian Festival with the support of the regional ministry of entrepreneurship.
The Kruzhalo Merchant House hosted the exhibition that lasted two days.
The exhibition was attended by the Deputy Head of the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Heilongjiang Province of China, He Davei, representatives of the Bulgarian business community, participants from regions of Russia and a number of foreign countries, tourists from South Korea, Canada and China.
Opening the event, the Minister of Entrepreneurship, Trade and Tourism of Yakutia, Irina Vysokikh, noted that the exhibition is designed to generate and transmit the best ideas, a positive experience of creating a tourism product in different parts of Yakutia.
“The Ministry of Entrepreneurship, Trade and Tourism sees its mission in creating sustainable prerequisites for the development of tourism, namely in creating favorable conditions for the tourism industry, identifying and implementing new mechanisms to support small and medium-sized businesses engaged in tourism. I am sure that our exhibition will become a good platform for a constructive dialogue between specialists in the sphere of tourism, government and business, and will enable us to develop a set of effective measures aimed at developing tourism in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia),” said the Minister.
The exhibition is a project designed to demonstrate features, cultural traditions and tourist opportunities of the region to the participants and guests of the ‘Winter Starts In Yakutia’ All-Russian Festival, to promote the attraction of tourist flow to the republic, the press service of the Ministry of Entrepreneurs of the Republic told YSIA.
